I dealt him three hot slaps successively, as he stood dutifully to receive the slaps like his earned wages - Aisha Oyetunji

As I type, I am bubbling in happiness.

About two hours ago, I was hurrying on a very busy road to get a taxi when I felt a pressure near the big unzipped bag I hung on a shoulder. I had thought the pressure was from an accidental hit by a fellow pedestrian and so, I, just out of courtesy and curiosity immediately turned to see who hit me.

As soon as I made the turn, what I saw was a tattered looking guy dropping my purse out of fear, scattering my belongings on the tarred road and shattering my just acquired powder! He thought I knew he picked the purse earlier.

I was livid! I dealt him three hot slaps successively, as he stood dutifully to receive the slaps like his earned wages. He knew other passersby would have come to my rescue if he made to beat me in return and he knew too my mild slaps would be way bearable than a mob action.

People clapped for me as I took my pound of flesh. You can't imagine the heroic satisfaction I feel right now.
