I really have to thank my agitators and haters for the constant foaming from the mouths.


Without y'all, there's a limit to how far my voice and message will go.


I just got a call from New York, for a conference I registered to attend.


They called to ask if I would moderate a "session or two" instead.

The woman said, "I checked up on you. I read you on CNN, and all the rejoinders on that subject. Then I dug a little further." She giggled for a moment here and then said, "I definitely want you to be a moderator at the event! There's so much more a person like you can contribute to this conference." Her voice as calm as the sea.


I'm still trying to process that call. This is just... I can't find the words.


I only wanted to attend. Hoping they have an extra seat for a black woman from Nigeria. I was praying "Nigeria" wouldn't deter them since it wasn't some kind of patronising poverty porn event.


Now I get to moderate sessions at an international event for Women leaders all over the world.


Because of you, haters.


The people who love me only agree with me. But haters go the extra mile...


They write. And people read. And come to their brilliant conclusions.
