May God destroy the present Monster called 'Church'!
Before you rant and charge me with blasphemy, kindly read the testimonies and pleas of Evans' wife.
She said her husband was a 'prayer warrior', led morning and evening devotions and even recited Psalm 23 everyday!
She stated further that her husband and family attended Anglican Church and donated huge sums to the Church (please read link for more details). #sigh.
Here are my questions;
* What kind of Church do we now have which makes the likes of Evans find it convenient to worship every Sunday without feeling a tinge of conviction and the need for repentance?
* Why are our Churches now safe havens for Kidnappers, Robbers, Prostitutes etc?
The answer is simple:
If there's no conviction for sins in your church gathering, then you do not have a Church. What you have is a Social Union.
Convictions are no more found in so-called churches these days because they are NOT churches. PERIOD!
There's a conspiracy of corruption among moneybags/millionaires, politicians and pastors. Corruption rules, Conviction dies.
It is my prayer that the Almighty God through the power of the Holy Spirit will demolish and destroy the hydraheaded monster masquerading as the Church of Christ in Nigeria. Amen!
Like the Phoenix, the real Church of Christ beyond the expensive and air conditioned walls of gigantic edifices would rise again with renewed strength and resolve. So shall it be.
Until then, to hell with the monster!
