Everyday is fathers day to me because no day goes by without my Father crossing my mind
I remember growing up and looking up to you
I'm older now and I still do,
All the sacrifices made
Ensuring your kids lacked nothing even at your own expense
The value you placed on education for us
The way you treated everyone equally with respect regardless of social standing
Also the way you showed me the path to God and in my 30 years I've never seen or heard you stray from that path
The unbending Love you have for your family
I know Life can be unpredictable, but I remember one of the first idioms I learnt from you "Tough times never last, tough people do"
